Issue in user retrieval from UME, immediatly after creation in LDAP

Hi,

I am facing an issue while assigning groups immeditely after the user is created in LDAP through UME API.

i. Using custom application I am creating user in LDAP

ii. Then, I am searching the same user on portal using UME API to assign portal/ume groups to the user.

iii. It throws exception that the User Does Not Exist On Portal

iv. I can see the user through Portal User Management engine

v. Then I can assign portal/UME groups to the user

vi. Both the steps ( Creating User in LDAP & assigning groups on Portal ) will be executed on the same action (one button click)

Which settings or configurations need to be modified, so that the user can be retrived in Portal immediately after creation in LDAP.
