Hi Folks,

What is the difference between Sap Solution,Sap Application and Sap Components................

What I find all are same .........Is this correct??

Can any body explain me on respective of ERP6.0............

Hello Pranendu,

To understand what SAP Solution is I refer you to the following URL [www.sap.com/solutions/index.epx].

Software components are SAP software parts. ECC (ERP Cenral Components), BI (Business Intelligence), CRM (Customer Relationship Management) are examples of components.

SAP Applications comprise of objects (i.e., data elements, tables, programs) that perform a function on SAP like Document Creation.

ECC 6.0 = ERP Central Components (6.0 is a specific version). I believe the most recent version is 7.3.

ECC is the successor to R/3.

You can find more detailed explanations by reading SAP introductory books. Tomorrow, I will bring one in for home and update this thread with the title.

I also invite any other SAP experts to add to my explanations.
