Hi Pravesh,

For the business sytem you have to mention the adapter specific identifiers in the Integration Directory.

Go to Int. Directory -> Double Click on your IDoc Business System -> Menu -> Service -> Adapter Specific Identifiers

Maintain Logical System name and System ID and Client number.

Check the following blog.

/people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/03/29/xi-error--unable-to-convert-the-sender-service-to-an-ale-logical-system

Go to your application IDoc Sending/Receiving system and execute transaction SCC4 and double click on the connecting client and see what the logical system name is. Maintain that name in the business system. If you have done this correctly, refresh the cache.

cheers,

Prashanth

I am facing exactly the same error and my scenario is also like yours.

Please let me know.

Hi,

I made the necessary changes but am now getting the following error in the runtime workbench:

Error Category IDOC_ADAPTER

Error Code ATTRIBUTE_IDOC_METADATA

I checked the entries in the tcode IDX2

There is an entry for the IDOC type that I need to send under the port that am using.

Can any one please help me out with the can be possible reasons.

Thnx,

Pravesh Puria.

Hi Pravesh,

Use the correct port in your IDOC receiver channel.

Also check the adapter specific settings in the directory, goto your Service, goto Service--> Adapter specific identifiers. You should see Logical system, and R/3 system ID and the correct client. If not, press Compare with system landscape directory.

If this does not help, check the definition in the SLD of your client. Did you define the correct logical system for the client in the technical system/business system?

Hi Pravesh,

Goto section 8.5.2.6 in the XI3.0 trouble shooting guide. It discusses your problem exactly!

Either you will have to change as given in the guide or you will have to make the change in the Receiver agreement if you are using a BPM.

Please confirm back if you are using a BPM.
