hi,

i hav a SOAP > Idoc scenario wherein one single XI message is generating 2 idocs.

this is not happening for all the idocs but only for some.

the idocs have been cofigured to be generated in recvr r/3 system immediately upon thier reciept frm XI.

please advise as to what could be the cause of this problem.

regards,

Diptee

Hi,

Are oyu having any problem /issue if multiple idocs are passed..

for this to know look at the mapping of SOAP to idoc.. will get to know when multiple idocs will get generated and when not...

if you dont want multiple idocs to be generated then change the message mapping of IR..which will not trigger mutliple..(this depends on occurence of idoc message,,)

Hi Rajesh,

the mapping allows only one idoc to be created per SOAP message.

Hi Diptee,

Did you check the occurrences of the idocs.

If the occurrences are set to 1, then there is no way that the idoc would be created as two.

Can you give more analysis on that particular instance of where the idoc is getting duplicated.

You can explain more bit of the scenario,

hi Krish,

the occurance of idoc is set to only one.

also the two idcos that are being generated from the same message are having creation times which are approx 1 hour and 4 mins apart.

do let me know in case you need more details.

Hi Diptee..

Do the below testing..

Take the payload of the soap message which generated two idocs and test the same in mapping.. will know what mapping is generating..

Also two idocs are different are same message types..?

hi Rajesh,

did the testing however its generating only one idoc.

also both idocs belong to same message type, basic type and extension. they are being generated as duplicates (exactly same)
