Hello Gurus,
Lets say a customer is by the name of ABC Inc.
The vendor is a company YY within a group of companies called ZZZ (client).
Lets say ABC is the master data code defined in company YY.
If there are other companies called WW and XX belonging to the same group ZZZ and the same customer ABC Inc is a customer of all the companies YY, WW, XX, how should the customer master code be defined?
Am i right to say the following:
1. ABC is assigned to a Sales Org 1 of YY.
2. ABC must also be assigned to a Sales Org of WW and XX.
or is it that a different customer master data code for the same customer ABC Inc need to be created for the other companies WW and XX within the same group of companies? Is there a fixed rule for this?
regards
M Russo
HI,
this is to inform you that,
create the customer in one sales area which includes sales organisation and extend the same to the other salea organisations also which is called sales area.
if you want to extend to other sales organisations you can have it.
hope this clears your issue.

Hi
With the same customer code you can extend the customer to other group companies.
