Defects recording after UD

Dear All

Can defect recoding be done after giving UD for incoming material. If yes plz confirm HOW

You can record defect after UD, but not recommened way.

1) Go to transaction BS22

2) Double-click on system status 'I0217' ICCO (all inspection completed)

3) Change the control indicator to 'Allowed' for business transaction 'QM23' (record defects)

There are three levels in which defect recording can be done

1.lot

2.operation

3.Char

Now if your char are "Long Term " char then you can carry out Defect recording at char level while doing Result recording.But for this make sure that you should have all your char as "Long Term"

as per my knowledge it is not possible to create defects after ud but u can create notification for defects.

in that notification u can give refrence of inspection lot

No, in std SAP it is not possible.
