System error in VC Data Services

Hi,

In Visual Composer --- Find Data

Search for a query on a SAP BW system is showing me below error

Error -30014search returned an error Failed to connect to backend system. Check your system definition and user privileges

Earlier it used to work correctly. Please advise how to proceed.

Hi,

As first step I would make sure that ther service is indeed up and running.

You can perform a connection test in the "system configuration" tab in the portal (or ask you basis team to do so).

If it is in fact working, I would try to search "*" (without the "), and see if it finds anything.

Hi,

do the connectiontest for your BW system from which are using fromk the VC.

Make sure u are doing the connection test for the right the the alias which is getting displayed in VC.
