Secured connection type not available

Hello Gurus,

I am trying to create an Universe and when I tried to create a new connection on top of SAP BW query I didnt find Secured Connection type.

The only connection types available to select are Personal and Shared.

Can anyone tell me why I am unable to create a secured connection on SAP BW query.

PS:My designer login credentials are based on Enterprise mode.

Hi,

For this connection the Administrator is not giving the secured permission to all users. so you are not an authorised person to view this. If you want to view this you can ask your administator to enable this option.

You must use secured connections if you want to distribute universes through the CMS.

so you must have the CMS access permissions or admin rights.

I have designer access with Enterprise mode credentials and I am able to create universes with shared and personal type connection and save it in my computer but unable to export it as it is not secured connection.

Do i need any further access to create secured type connection?
