SAP Download Manager on Red Hat

Former Member

Hello,

I want to download around 200 patches hence was configuring download manager on my server which is Red Hat Enterprise linux 5(RHEL 5).

I have installed Sun java 1.4.15 on the server. Then installaed SAP Download manager and it got installed successfully.

I am able to open the download manager also but after configuring the "S000xxxxxxx" id i am getting that SAP download manager in unable to read basket from service market place. Check your configuration.

I am able to read the downbasket on another system.

I have already set the java path in the bash file.

There is no proxy on the server.

I have raised an ticket to my netwirk team to check port 443.

Please let me know if i have gone wrong some where.

Cheers!!!

Elnino

Had exactly the same problem.

Installed Sun Java 1.6 and it fixed it.

Hello Elnino

I would advise you to check the Java settings (security settings). I don't know the exact location in redhat but I mean the setting for Java which you can set in the control panel --> java in a windows environment.

Make sure your java runtime can accept licenses (first two options in advanced --> security tab).

Kind regards

Tom
