Ehp1 Downtime upgrade error : MSSPSTUP.SBK' does not exist

Hi All,

During the upgratde of NW2004s 7.0 to NW2004s Ehp1, i am getting the below error message in the Downtime phase. I tried to refer to SAP notes " Note 1515557 - tp import: error 13 on MAIN IMPORT " and " te 1161733 - SQL Server: SAP EHPI for SAP NetWeaver 7.0x, 7.1x, 7.3" , and did the lib_dbsl update , it did not fixed the issue. Hi Tom,

Thanks for the reply.

I tried to update the lib_dbsl in all 701 version kernel directories, but it did not fixed issue. Then i fomatted everything and started ehp1 process from begining . This time i upgrade the lib_dbs (both in exe and exenew directoriies in the abap folder)) during the intial stage of the ehp1 upgrade process before checks phase .But it did not fixed the issue.

I see the below details in logs . as per the log after exectuting below command only MSSPSTUP.SQL file is copied to F:\EHP_install\abap\bin\ but not MSSPSTUP.SBK

Hello

I'm not convinced this error is the most important one, it could be the result of the fact that other errors occur. There might be a logical reason the file doesn't exist (unsolved issues).

Error Message: File 'F:\usr\sap\EHPI\abap\bin\MSSPSTUP.SBK' does not exist

I would advice you to try and fix the issues that are being flagged into log files (besides this one) and then try to continue the installation.

Hi Tom,

It is a known issue, please see the SAP note "Note 1515557 - tp import: error 13 on MAIN IMPORT " . As per the SAP note we need to upgrade lib_dbsl. However i had already upgrade the same but still i am getting same error .

The issue has been fixed after upgrading the R3trans to new patch level.
