log in issue on infoview and bo java administration launch pad

Hi

i have installed BO XIR2 in my system without any passwords and when i am tring to log in the webi or admin launch pad some times its asking like this

Authentication required :

("A username and password are being requested by http://ravi-2bb88d2146:8080. The site says: "XDB")

Username:

Password:

what it means ? and what is the error any one give me solution for this, and why it is asking like that?

Do you have an oracle server installed on the same machine?

thanks for your quick response and in my machine i have installed oracle database also for another purpose,

and at the time of BOXIR2 installation i installed mysql database for BOXIR2 which is a default database. In your
