MDM Core file

Hi,

I want to view/analyse the core file which is generated as a memory dump after the server crash.

I have the file path but it is showing only symbols. (/usr/sap/<SID>/<MDIS..>/work/)

Can anybody let me know the tool to be used for the evaluation of this file?

Hi,

For UNIX server please follow SAP Note 1250193 "MDM crashes arbitrarily on UNIX, what I should do?"

For Windows servers please follow SAP Note 1520991 "Extracting stack traces from running MDM Servers"

Rahul,

You can see the log files through console. You have the Logs in console which you can view. The log files are also maintained in the logs, besides the archives, ready and exception folders.
