Catalog connection failed error message

Hi

We are on SRM 7.0 and using external 3rd party catalog / punchout catalog.

and when user trying to copy old catalog item shopping cart then he is getting error " Catalog Connection Failed".

other wise while creating new shopping cart with catalog item he is facing no such problems.

Any reasons for this .
