BOM & Free goods

Dear all,

I have material x i have created bom for this materail y and z. It is reflecting while raising sales order.

now i want to give x as free for x.

Is it possbile both bom and Free goods at the same time.

Pl help me

hi sap monk,

here you are trying to mingle two business process in one go.

yes you can do it.

i think so in BOM you cannot configure FREE GOODS.

so use BOM seperately and FREE GOODS seperately or even you can use CROSS SELLING to your scenario.

Yes,

You can very well have BOM & free goods at the same time for same main material.

BOM explode doesnt effect free goods determination process even though the free goods are same as components of main item.

But what could be the reason , why you want to do this, can you explain the scenario?

I want main materail in bom as free good. i have tried but system didnt geting free good.

only bom is exploding.
