Hi,

WE work on SRM 5.0 ECS.

It has been decided to archive inactive vendors in ECC.Does archiving and deletion mean same??Pls let me knowwhat effect it will have on SRM side???

In ECC if you set a deletion flag , after some time in 6-7 days BUT000 table vendor archieved automatically. can you test the same

No both are different concepts . i do remember in ECC you can set deletion indicator and run the sync job in SRM later the BP (vendor) sets archiving FLAG in BUT000 Table.

the same happens in ECC material master - deletion and in COMMPR01 - sets lock or archiving flag.
