Can you restrict the roles that can be selected on a CUP request?

Is there a way to restrict what CUP roles can be selected on a request based on something about the user or requestor? For example, say that you cannot select FI roles for someone in division X.

Or maybe division X employees are only allowed to have FI roles?

Or another option may be to let the request be built but have CUP automatically reject it, or route it to a different workflow?

Anything like that, where we could prevent someone from selecting inappropriate roles for the user.

We are on GRC 5.3 SP13 by the way.

Hi Bob,

It is not possible to restrict the roles in CUP to the users based ont he criteria. However if you built your workflows very carefully, you could direct them to a particular stage if the combination is wrong. Thta ways you know that if it is in a particular stage it needs to be rejected.
