Error Creating PPM from external Excel Spreadsheet using bapi

Hi All,

We trying to use BAPI bapi_ppmsrvaps_savemulti_30a to mass upload our PPM's.

We have done the maping that we believe is required to create the PLAN / OPERATION and the Activity. However we keep receiving the error u201CProduct for external product number and BSG BGE11400 does not exist.u201D. In the error you can see that no product number is mentioned as if it is trying to upload a blank product number. However there are no blank lines at the beginning of the file and the file as far as we are aware is structured correctly.

As anyone seen anything like this before? Is there some Idiosyncrasy that anyone can make me aware of that may exist with this BAPI? I have an extract of the maping which I could present to you if it would help but I cant get it onto this forum

Hi,

Try to debug the code while passing data to this BAPI.I think some blank entry is there in parameter table in BAPI.

Also check whether all products in that excel spreadsheet are present in APO material master table /SAPAPO/MATKEY.

If any further help required please let me know.
