Why does the system create the TO from 902 to 916?

Hi ,

I have strange issue. Whenever I create transfer order with reference to outbound delivery, system picks up the stock from 902 areas. What system does is, it automatically cancel unconfirmed transfer order from 902 area and then create the TO from 902 to 916 area. So ultimate result is u2013ve stock in 902. My question is why does the system create the TO from 902 to 916? System should create the TO from other storage type which is maintained in search strategy. We have not maintained 902 areas anywhere in search strategy. Is there any OSS note for this?

It's very likely you are using SAP's cross docking functionality (opportunitic cross docking) in your system. So, I think system is working as it is set and there's no need for contacting OSS.

SPRO > Logistics Execution > Warehouse Management > Cross-docking > General Settings > Maintain Warehouse Level Settings

You are right. Issue resolved. There was a setting related to cross docking.
