Variant for V-07

I am trying to make field RF02D-KTOKD display only for transaction V-07, but in SHD0 it says that its not possible to create variant for dialog transaction.

Also since I want to restrict some users for this variant I dont want to make a variant directly in VD01 because new users will have to be entered in the right variant group and can get complicated.

I also add parameter SD_VARIANT_MAINTAIN (A) in my profile but I dont see any option to make a variant directly on the transaction.

Why dont you create a screen variant for this case using SHD0 and then give some Z tcode for the person to use for creating one time customer. I tried creating a screen variant using SHD0 and it allowed.
