Modify query structure

Hi experts,

I have created a universe based on a BW query. This query has a structure with 3 characteristics and a formula. This formula is calculated using the 3 characteristics.

I only need to show the formula in Web Intelligence. How I can restrict the structure (in Universe Designer) to display only the formula?

In the Universe the structure will result in a single dimension and in the report each structure element will be shown as actual data. you could create a formula based on the text of the structure element.

You can right click the object in universe and select 'hidden items'.

Then when you create webi report, you won't see the hidden items.

Yes, I understand what you say but that would hide all items and I need to show only the formula.

Hi,

In the universe, you might have one object for the structure and another object for the formula.

Just hide the object coming from the structure in the universe.
