VA01 Internal Order throws a dummy Profit Center

Hello Gurus,

i got a situation and it is:

Im creating a Sales Order with Material, Internal order and Profit center.

Material and internal order doesnt have any assigments to Profit center,

Only cost center is assigned to Profit center.

Sales reason is empty.

During entering of the data in VA01 im able to enter required PC, but after entering Internal Order the profit center is changed into Dummy PC.

OKB9 has nothing assigned to PC, as well as no Substitution rules exist

Enyone knows a solution for that?

Check in 1KE4 whether any profit center is maintained to your internal order

those notes describe exact the situation, but the SAP ECC version that we are using is ECC 6. Can those notes be implemented? i think not or am i wrong?

You are right. That note can be applied only upto 4.7.

Check OSS Note 1451924 - Profit center reorganization in classic general ledger provides required details.
