Problem with Maintenance Optimizer - Solman EHP1

Hi All,

I have a solution manager 7.0 ehp1 system and maintenance optimizer does not work at all.

Initial configurarion and Basic configuration has been done - Tcode : Solman_Setup

A solution has been created and systems have been assigned to it, however when i launch create new maintenance

transaction it shows us the solution and the systems assigned under it.If i select our Production system and click on next

it comes up an error, saying the table does not contain any data. Do i need to do the SLM configuration for MOPZ to work?

Has anyone seen this error earlier. Any inputs would be of great help.

Hi All,

In our solution manager RFC destination SIDCLNT100 had user id ALEREMOTE and this id was locked. In order to resolve the issue we had to unlock the user and reset the password.

Below information was found from trace file dev_rfc0

======> Password logon no longer possible - too many failed attempts

ABAP Programm: CL_SOCM_IBASE_CONVERTER=======CP (Transaction: )

Called function module: /TMWFLOW/VCMSCNF_PRMP_GET

Thanks for the reply. I have already applied the note 0001415315 Maintenance Optimizer: Collective corrections for SP22

But still no luck.

Hi,

Though the error does not give much insight. There are some warnings which tells that configuration has to be done

Please find the warnings attached in the email.

Not able to find an active SLM for selected managed systems

No configured SLM

No common SLM system is regsitered for Managed Systems

The system / systems - SID have not beed registered in SLM

Instance -type missing in SMSY for an application server instance of system .

Hello,

It does not give any table . Under the Maintenance optimizer log , there is a tab Display log and under that there is a message

which says The table does not contain any data. Currently we are on SPS 22.

Hello Ershad,

If you are on SP22 please do not waste your time with Notes 1300753 and 1137683 as they do not apply to SP22.

I would recommend that you apply SAP Note 1415315 - Maintenance Optimizer: Collective corrections for SP22 as a next step and proceed from there. However when the Collective Correction Note for an SP level (in this case SP22) is applied a number of problems get resolved, and potentially the one you have now.

Hello,

You don't need the SLM configuration to work with Maintenance Optimizer.

What table?? please copy and paste all the text of the error message.

It also helps to know what is the Support Package level of your Solution Manager.
