DMS temp file in C:\ Drive

Hi

I am new to DMS , we you DMS for document storge and i want to know when we create any document number from CV01N a temorary file is saved in C drive but as per our policy we are not supposed to save any file in c:\ drive .

For that I had removed path in data carrier in SPRO (tr.DC20) even its saved in C:\

Hi Shailendra,

Do note that the settings in transaction DC20 are used extensively for working with DMS functionalities and hence are very important too.

For the display of ECL Viewer layers, it is necessary that there is the path C:\temp\ maintained in DC20 for your frontendtype. Otherwise there will be some problems during the display of your layers.

This is a requirement of the ECL Viewer and cannot be changed by DMS.

Thanks for reply but if we remove that path it will direct you to C:\ Document setting ... sapworkdirectory which is ok i checked for CV02N ,CV03N

but i want same should be happened when i will create new documents (CV01N)
