Hi experts, I got the understanding that when you are configuring the Service Desk in Solman you got to add an user to the message proccesor in the table AISUSER with some S-Authorization, which ones will be those S-authorizations?, I read a guide when it says that mainly this user should be connected with the Solution Manager Adiministrator user to perform some backgrounds jobs later, is this an obligation?
Thanks,
Paul
Hi Paul,
The S-User would be provided once you are an SAP Customer. The mapping between Solution manager system user and the S-User is to be maintained in the AISUSER table.
The S-user would be the one you use to access the SMP.

Hey Paul,
You cannot use maintenance transactions if the S-user is not maintained in AISUSER. You do not have to be a system admistrator to have a S-User, however the system administrator generally gives users who need access to S-users for maintenance transactions.
Sometimes the AISUSER can be incorrectly maintained. I always get this mixed up myself!
In transaction code AISUSER, you should see the column "User" and "Contact Person".
The "User" column should have the logon user id defined whereas "Contact Person" is the corresponding S-user ID.
It should be set with your S-user ID without the "S" and the preceding zero. eg. if logon id to the system is ABCDEF and S-user id is S0001234567, the entry below should be made in the column.
User Contact Person
ABCDEF 1234567
Hope this helps!
