Hi Gurus,
I have activated ACL and was trying to control DIR with ACL by not giving authorization to a user. I didnt work out for me. Does ACL works with Easy DMS only? or can I use it with normal DMS.
what do I need to do to not allow a particular user to access my DIR? Any suggestions, anyway that I can use ACL to achieve this.
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
my first question would be if you see the authorization tab in a document info record when you display it in CV03N. Because for using the ACL function in the backend the EA-PLM extension needs to be active. If this extension is not activated in your system the ACL wont work in the backend DMS transactions.
Best regards,
Christoph

Hi Murtuza,
I believe its the authorization object ACO_SUPER (ACO_OTYP_S = 'DIS', Activity = 'ADMIN') that is overriding your ACL authorizations. Removing this object should solve the issue.
