SRM Filters for materials

Hello Everyone,

We transfer all the materials from R3 to SRM. I want to use table MARC-PLAN as a filter in SRM. I know that it is not the standard process and MARC table does not exist among tables as filtering objects.

But we want to filter the materials based on PLANTS.

How can I get this filter setting in SRM? We are using Extended Classic Scenario.

Thanks,

Khushbu.

Hi Khushbu,

As per the standard, you cannot filter the object "Material" based on the table MARC. You can use the tables MAKT,MARA, MLAN, MVKE, STXH etc.

I hope you have to do some enhancement to get it done.

Thanks,

Shyjith

Hi

You can use MARA table with material number and purchasing view i believe E .

I do remember my mentor told me once MARC can not be used for filter.

replication of materials with purchasing view (SAP note 519794 ), filter is:

Tab: MARA

Field: PSTAT

OP: Contains pattern

Low: *E*

High: (SPACE)

Incl.Excl: Inclusive

Hi Muthu,

Thanks for the help.

If we take the MARA table and the purchasing view then also we are replicating too many materials. So we need to filter the material based on PLANT.

Is there any way that we can filter the materials based on PLANTS in R3AC1 transaction?

Regards,

Khushbu.
