How to complete an item

Hi All

i am trying to complete an item but its not completing. When i complete it in cProjects all fields are grayed out but when i go to an item dashboard the item displays as not completed.

please assist with the solution to this problem.

Hi ,

There is no system defined statuses in RPM item like complete. so it will not complete the item.

RPM item is always based on user defined statuses ,so defined complete as end status in config.

Once the item reach to this status, it will get completed.

if your requirment is to get automatic updation of RPM with cProjects status reach to complete then use DFM.

Hi,

Field control based on (user)status, as Nitin already replied, is not available 'out-of-box'

But if you are looking for 'completed' item to show up in 'inactive' view of item dashboard, you will have to assign that status to status group "Closed".
