set name of webdynpro application name

Hi,

I have a requirement where I have to change the webdynpro application's name say from "App1" to "App2" (on internet explorer 8.0 this WD application name will appear on the tab when we goto the application url). This application is deployed on a PI 7.1 runtime system.

Please help.

Hi Reinuka,

By default your application name is displayed in the Internet Explorer title

If you want to display name other than your application name then follow below steps

Go to the properties of your default Window in the Web Dynpro DC

Enter the name that you want to display as title in the title property and deploy your application

The new title will be displayed
