Hi,
We have created few fields through EEWB, however when we included these fields in the context node of the component they are not visible in the fields list in configuration tool.
We referred many sdn threads which suggested Assigning the node to design layer. We performed the same still no results.
As per our observations these fields are visible in the Show Enhancement view of the configurator under an object.
How can we bring these fields into the Configuration tool so as to add them in the UI screen.
Any hints will be appreciated.

Hi PePe,
To see the fields in the config tool, they must be added to the view context, not just the component context. Also make sure you look at the configuration tool of the enhanced view, not the original one.

Please implement the following OSS Note:
0001504637 List showing available assignment blocks is always empty
Also try running report CRM_BUPA_UI_EXTEND_REPOSITORY for your EEW-object. External object name is your EEW-object ZZxxxEEW.

Hi PP
Open SPRO
CRM-> UI Framework ->UI Framework Definition->Design Layer-> Deactivate hiding of Fields.
Here you can use this Customizing activity to switch off the hiding of fields.
Create a new entry for the current client and select the checkbox No hiding of fields by design layer.
Thats it your fields will be appear in UI Configuration.

Hi,
I had referred both these notes while adding the new EEWB fields in Web UI.
I followed all the steps as mentioned in the Note, still i am not able to see the fields in the configuration tool.
All these fields are available in the Show enhancements screen.
How can I bring these fields to Show Available fields.

Hello PP,
Please check with base_entity_name of your enhanced context node to check if the BOL object name appears correctly there? I assume you have modified the BOL object.
If you are on CRM 7.0 why don't you use the Application Enhancement Tool? It will overcome all the EEWB issues.
