script for Time Period

Hello,

Is there any way using script to convert a date to a time period? E.g. "11/01/2011" should be converted to "2010 January" via script?

Maybe you can do the conversion in excel and upload the time periods again?

Time Periods are objects in the system that can be accesses via scripting. Ideally, they should be created using a csv file structured for importing them like any other Master Data Object. They are used for reporting purposes.

If you are trying to dynamically create them please share more details about what you are trying to accomplish overall.
