material not confirmed today

Hi Experts,

I came across an issue today.

We had a sales order dated the 3rd Jan for qty 10, which didnt confirm the material as there was no available quantity.

Yesterday there was a goods recipt for that material at 2.00 pm. We have a background job running for v_v2 at 9.00pm at night and it didnt confirm the material yesterday. The material is confirmed for today.

There was no credit checks, no deliveries made, there is no minimum order.

what could have been the reason for this?

Hi,

Pls check mrp views for that particular material,and have u maintained any value for the filed lead time in days in the document type.

Sorry to add those two things. It is a trading material, hence no mrp views and no lead time in document type maintainted.

Check for Shipping Poing in OVLZ for the field "Pick/pack time wrkdys" what is maintained. It should have been blank.

Yes the pick/pack time for the shipping point is blank. How does it have anything to do with the material not getting confirmed/allocated yesterday and getting allocated today thru v_v2?
