Error L3216: Enter Storage Unit when Confirming Transfer Order for Outbound

Hi there,

We're having an issue such that when we confirm a transfer order for an outbound delivery, SAP will prompt an error Enter Storage Unit (L3216), and the cursor on the screen is pointed to the field HU identification. Where can I get the HU identification value? Please advise on a solution to the issue.

Hi,

I think you are partial pick of HU, you need to do setting in below.

Logistic GeneralHU mgtBasicsWM-Define control for automatic creation of pick HUs, other wise you can do by LH01 manually and then can confirm TO in LT12.

Hi,

If it is asking for a source HU or Destination HU. If it is asking for Destination HU then you can enter any HU number ( as long as it is defined in HU external number range). If it is source HU, then you have to enter the SU number if your warehouse is SU managed or HU number if it is HU managed.

You can assign Pick HU in LH01. Enter a packing material type and createing a Pick HU.

Later while confirming the TO, Destination Storage Unit will be automatically taken from HU
