Oracle Standard Jobs on AS-JAVA (Enterprise Portal) instance.

Hello Experts,

I have a small query on AS-JAVA stack + Oracle instance. We have separate AS-JAVA stack with its own Oracle DB. I want to automate Database maintaince jobs (like DBstats, Cleanupjobs, DBCheck) as we do in SM37 in AS-ABAP Stack..

Currently, I am doing database maintaince using BRTOOLS on unix prompt.

It is possible?? What the Best Practice of such scenario. Any SAP Note that can guide me in this regards.

Yes - check sapnote #853610 (Point "3. Configuring a remote database without a remote shell") ...
