Business Package for Buyers: Dynamic Content

Hi,

We have installed the Business Package for Buyers 1.4 in our ERP 6 EHP, SAP BW 7.01 and EP 7.0 environment.

We would like to create a screen which would allow an end user create a purchase order and while they are doing this the analytics section will update using the materials number to show the purchasing history of that product.

Can anyone advise how this is done , we are not clear from the sap help:

Our thoughts are that a new transaction is created which calls the functionality of me21 and simultaneously sends a request to BW with the entered material number. Once this is done the info is returned to the end user via the portal.

Any advice or links to demo's greatly appreciated. ( Can't find many on the net of real value)
