Business Process Monit. No stored metrics for qRFC backlog monitoring found

Hi Expert,

I'm configuring Business process Monitoring and QRFC monitoring for my SAP XI .

I have configured QRFC monitoring for outbound queue (XBTM, XBQ1; QBXI;XBTO; XBQA) but after I have activated the interface the following error appear:

"No stored metrics for qRFC backlog monitoring found"

Please, could some one help me to understand which is the problem?

Hello Giovanni,

Most likely in your case, you have customized the qRFC monitoring to use SMD, but no

SMD seems to run on your satellite system. Thus, you get the alert

message 'no stored metrics found', although your selection criteria fit

to the queues on the satelllite system.

There are two possible ways to proceed: either you use the direct data

collection mode which can specify on object level in tab 'Detail

Information'. Just select DIRECT-SELECT from the F4 help in fields

'Command string of SMD qRFC backlog/status collection'.

Alternatively,

you can check if it is possible to use the SMD on the satellite system,

which is generally recommended as the direct data collection causes some

additional load on the satellite system.

monitoring, please refer to the Setup Guide Interface Monitoring which

you can find on SAP Service Marketplace, quicklink /bpm, 'Technical

Information'.
