Hi all,
I am working on WM module.I wanted to know the exact sequqnce of the foll processes in a WM module.
GR
Inbound delivery
Transfer order creation
Putaway process
Also for the putaway process, why are the putaway labels printed???Are these labels physically applied on the materials which are put away in the storage areas during the putaway process??Pls clarify.
Searching on the forum & internet you can find lots of WM resources...
As for your question:
1) Best solution would be to ask the funcional consultant who is responsible for the system in which you are working on WM developments - this way you may get help more quickly...
2)
2a) First you should check to which plant/stoare location your WH is assigned:
SPRO > Enterprise Structure > Assignment > Logistics Execution > Assign warehouse number to plant/storage location (V_T320)
2b) First you should decide whether the WH is HUM managed or not
SPRO > Logistics - General > Handling Unit Management > Basics > Materials Management > Inventory Management > HU Requirement for Storage Locations and Default Values for Deliveries
Here you can see whether handling unit management is set for the plant/storage location combination (V_T001L_L-XHUPF).
2c)
2c1) IF no HUM requirement is set for the plant/storage location combination, the sequence is:
1) Inbound delivery 2) Putaway (TO creation) 3) GR
2c2) IF HUM requirement is set, you have to check how GR/putaway sequence is defined:
SPRO > Logistics - General > Handling Unit Management > Basics > Delivery > Define Sequence of Transfer Order - Goods Receipt (V_TVLR-XWBTA)
IF the mentioned field is set, the sequence:
1) Inbound delivery 2) GR 3) Putaway (TO creation)
IF not then:
1) Inbound delivery 2) Putaway (TO creation) 3) GR
