Inspection Lot is not generating after UD made for existing PO

Dear SAP Gurus,

After UD made, inspection lot is not generating for existing Purchase Order. Kindly advice me what settings i have to check.

Mr.Kiran is right, you have to do Insp Lot Control setting for each material document. It wonu2019t work with against each PO for One Inspection Lot generation.

Dear do you mean once you made GR inspection lot was created and you done UD now you are doing GR for same PO in that case inspection lot is not generating if yes then check in MM QM view for 01 inspection type control insLot field it should be For each material document.

thanks for ur reply. actually the MM /QM settings are set against each PO for One Inspection Lot generation. If UD is done, for next GR a new inspection lot automatically generated till 31st Dec 2010 . From 1st Jan 2011 inspection lot is not being generated.Kindly guide me to solve the issue.

Dear inspection lot generation depends on the inspection type you maintained in MM QM View as you said inspection lot was generating before now the lot is not getting generated whenever you do GR then there might be some changes in master data so please check in that particular MM QM view whether 01 inspection type in acive or not?

Dear Kiran,

Inspection type set up selected as (Z01A Goods Receipt Insp. for Purchase Order) created for our company, same as 01 inspection type there is no changes made in MM QM views.

Dear what is your business requirement to have a customized inspection type instead of 01 inspection type there might be some settings in your customized inspection type so analyze.

after selecting this setting may be it will not be applicable to that PO.

create new po and check
