Hi guys and gals,
I have a customer that needs an EHPI done on a landscape but also requires a shift onto new hardware. We have very limited time to do this, so I was wondering, if we do a complete landscape clone (from one SAN to another SAN) and obviously the kernel settings etc., and then SPLIT the two landscapes networks up (i.e. have the two landscapes with EXACTLY the same system details, IP's, hostnames, and so forth, but have them on two separate networks (the new one closed for the moment) should we have any issues with conflicts?
I don't think so, but I would rather just check with the general population. (Phone a friend, if you will. )
Thanks for the inputs..
Brad
Sounds reasonable and feasible.
I would though test it before with a single host to make sure the process is defined and working.
