unable to add millstone to the sales order

Hi ,

Can anyone please help..

I am unable to add a milestone in the sales order.

Error: Maintain the billing plan type in sales document type or item category.

Though i hv checked in the item category and sales order type the billing plan type is maintained.

You cannot assign mielstone to a sales order directly.

You shoudl configure billing plans and projects correctly and then assign teh WBS element to the project. In this case, MS will be made available to the sales order. You can confirm the MS in PS in CN25.

Select the sales doc type and assign billing plan to that sales doc type in the billing plan type feild and then create the sales order again.If the billing plan type has to be assigned to the item category then select the item category and then assign the billing plan to the item category

Hi,

Hope you have done the following settings in configuration. Pl check it.

1. If your Billing Plan type is u2018X1u2019 and the Sales order type is u201CZORu201D assign the same in the following path:

SPRO >> SD >> Billing >> Billing Plan >> Assign Billing Plan Types To Sales Document Types

2. If your Billing Plan type is u2018X1u2019 and the Item category is u201CZTAOu201D assign the same in the following link

SPRO >> SD >> Billing >> Billing Plan >> Assign Billing Plan Types To Item Categories
