ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED

Hi friends,

I have a scenario of file to proxy.

I have to design proxy in receiver side BI system.

For this I m doing proxy runtime config in BI Syste.

When I have created the RFC destination of type HTTP ant try to connection test.

I m receiving given error.

ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED

Kindly suggest me to resolve this issue.

Hi Narendra,

For this error you need to activate the ICM services in your BI server.

First check whether your ICM is running and HTTP port is active in SMICM.

Activate the service as explain in this article below:

you can try with SXI_CACHE, if this did not resolve your problem; restart your Java engine / server....

Check the port and PI server name provided in the BI/BW system..

port should be the same as in PI(goto SMICM->services and check the port over there...)
