Check Objects in a TR

Hello,

We have a typical requirement, the requirement is as below

When a TR is about to be released we have to check if the objects in the TR are also part of another TR which is released but not imported to the desired systems.

Please let me know if you need further information.

You can make use of SAP transport management tool for checking the object in transport request,

You could also implement BAdi CTS_REQUEST_CHECK. There is method CHECK_BEFORE_RELEASE.

Hello Ashok,

as per the problem description, it sounds like a predecessor relationship is setup on this case. Is this correct?

If so, please check note #300345. Accordingly to this note PREDECESSOR entries are created, if you have a request which depends on several projects.

To avoid these entries, it would be needed to check the project of these entries and the dependencies between the different projects.
