Reopening the period in material master record

Dear Sir/Madar

When try to create stock it is showing the following error message.

Posting only possible in periods 2011/02 and 2011/01 in company code HLL1

Kindly advise....

Hi,

First check the transaction code for MMRV for your company code, whether it was changed to 2011 year or not

If not then change it in MMPV for your company code

since it is at the Posting period level, you have to change it in MMPV

It is changed to 2011 in MMRV, the current period is showing as 02/2011

check the status in MMRV.

OPEN THE PERIODS UPTO 01/2011 in MMPV for MM.

OB52- OPEN PERIODS FOR 01/2011 FOR fI POSTINGS

When i check in MMRV it showing d current period as 02/2011.
