Dear All,
We have a requirement where we need have the shopping cart monitor functionality to business users.
But there is no option to use the SRM transaction bbp_mon_sc
From SRM 7.0 we understand that SAP has started USING WEBDYNPRO for any application development.
Is there a way to convert the transaction to abap webdynpro application and use it thorugh portal.
The application monitor delivered with SRM admin role, has all other monitors with error logs, we dont want to deliver this to end users.
Regards
harish
Instead of mdifying the transaction BBP_MON_SC,ask your BASIS team to create a copy of the std Admin role(which has the application monitors along with "Monitor Shopping cart") and then delete the unwated aplication monitors.Same can be done with the EP roles. Please do the mapping for the custom roles and assign these roles to those users who need to see only the MONITOR SHOPPING CART transaction in Portal.

Hi,
Thanks for the inputs, we had already tried the same, but the problem is we are unable to hide the other montors apart from the shopping cart monitor, Since they are build through some tree structure in webdynpro, there is no impact on the portal side after hdiing, ]\
we could still see business partner monitor, contract distribution monitor along with shopping cart monitor.
Hiding works in the content area, but the serach icons along with the alerts are dispalyed.

Hi Harish,
You can convert the existing monitor shopping cart from the current ITS version (SRM 3.0 to SRM 6.0) to IAC applications
Check with your portal team.We have converted the same it is working in SRM 7.0 ABAP webdynpro.
Please check with your client whether they are accepting this.
(OR)
In SRM 7.0 you have standard monitor shopping cart .Please copy to a Z one and do modifiaion in ABAP webdynpro

Hi Ganesh,
Thanks for the inputs, Will check with my development team on how to proceed on option 1.
At the same time in SRM 7.0, May I know through which role we could have the shopping cart monitor alone.
The basis requirement from our client is to provide them with search option for shopping cart across company codes, which is avialble only with shopping cart monitor as the standard advanced search doesnt provide that search criteria.
The disadvatage of providing the standard admin role is that it exposes the other monitors, such has purchase order and business partner which is not required
