Transaction Data Mass Update

Hello -

As part of our CRM 7.0 upgrade, we have created new Item Category Groups for all of our Material Master Records in R/3. As a result, all of the Service transactional data must be cut over to the new CRM solution, or updated within R/3 to the new Item Category Groups in order to process out correctly. Does anyone know of a standard program that will perform a mass update of Service transactional data after a Material Master data change?

I can throw the question over to the CRM group, but this is Master Data related on the R/3 side. We will update the Material Master with all new Item Category Groups which, in turn needs to be updated on the historical transactions in R/3 so that they can be processed out when we go live on CRM. This is an R/3 Master Data question - how do you update historical transaction data after a Mass Material Master Update?
