Hi community,
I just read an article about an upcoming update of the Solution Manager within this year. It's been told that service desk and lots of other things will get remarkably redesigned. (Source: Efficient Extended Enterprise Dec10/Jan11) However, no details are provided. As I was searching the internet I couldn't find any near information about what's to come.
Has anyone any intelligence or source to share?

There are a number of Enhancements to Solution Manager 7.1.
Did you know most of those enhancements will be downported to SP26?
Some enhancements are you will be able to attach files to service requests.
A new Engaement and Benefits section, with 360 review, benefit case, support plan and Service and reporting results.
An engament overview, an interface for delivering the engagement methodology.

Hi,
I too have heard many promising things about the new version of SAP Solution Manager 7.1.
I have seen various previews and seminars where those involved directly working for SAP have mentioned various enhancements to the UI, functionality and scope of SAP Solution Manager.
