can any body tell me when FPM is used?If possible provide some sample application?
Hi,
FPM stands for Floor Plan Manager. It is used to design the selfservice application sothat the all the processes/applications are self explanary and there is minimal amount of end user training required to use it.
There are three components required for a FPM application: CC,BLC and VAC (search in help.sap.com for details).
These applications use FPM api to use the certain functionalities of FPM(i.e. handling FPM events and methods etc). FPM DCs (pcui_gp/xssfpm and pcui_gp/xssutils) need to be added as used dcs to use FPM api.
This is just an overview, example of the same are ESS applications.
Best Regards
Deepak
