Hi All,
I am running optimiser for single prod/loc. I have monthly buckets and demands on each bucket.
If I run optimiser, it is not planning for the current bucket. If the bucket is daily bucket, it plans for today also(i.e. for the current period) but if it is monthly bucket, it does not plan for the current month.
Got to know that optimiser, by SAP standard design, does not plan for current bucket.
Is this the reason? or do I need to look for some other information/settings?
Regards

Hi
To me, SNP optimizer will not consider past order data, but should support current bucket provided, the entire bucket is current
( which can happen everyday in a daily bucket) and part of the bucket is not in past.
If for example we run optimizer starting with January 2011 month, in monthly bucket , then part of the bucket is in past.
If we run SNP optimzer at the starting of the current bucket ( 1st of the month, 1st day of the week), it should run properly.
