can we change the quantity at billing after delivery was done

Can we change the Materail quantity in billing when derliverya dn PGI as was compleated.

Hi Rahim,

Kindly confirm the scenario

Delivery Doc.1 contains:

Item No...............Material.................Qty

10--

---

Material ABC----20

20--

---

MAterial XYX----30

Now, while Billing this Delivery Doc.1;

you want to change Quanties for Material ABC (from 20 to 10)

and for Material XYZ (from 30 to 15)

If this is the case. then, this is not possible with Standard-SAP

The Actual senarios is The order is made for 1000kg and when it goes to delivery they haev done enhancement with Weighbridge with sap, that is deducting Tare weight from the gross weight so the net weight is less than the ordered weight i.e 990.

But when it goes to billing it is caluclating on the 1000 of the ordered quantity.

that is making problem.

pelase help us in this regard.

In copy control VTFL

AT item level for your item category, what Copying requirements is maintained???

Try to maintain 004 Deliv-related item

Also maintain Pricing type as B - Carry out new pricing

You are not clear on what you wan't ti bill.

The quantity delivered (removed from inventory) SHOULD have the tare weight on the container deducted.

In item category maintain billing relevance - K -Delivery-related invoices for partial quantity.

In billing oyu can change quantity manually.

If YES, then do the setting of copy control as suggested erlier, it will work

If NOT, then you have to write a routine to get that quantity

Hi Rahim,

I will suggest to go for the proof of delivery functionality so that you can correct the delivered quantity and do the billing for correct quantity.

Changing the billing relevance to K at item category level will not be useful as balance quantity will be invoiced in next run or delivery will be due for invoicing for balance quantity.

Hi Atul,

The actual senario is due to weigh bridge application the Tare weight is getting deducted from the net weight i.e for 1000 qty order is placed and the delivered qty is 990, when it goes to billing it is taking 1000 only insted of 990.

This is what is the problem what we are facing here.

Take the actual Delivery quantity

as told earlier, if QTY of weigh bridge is same as delivery quantity then nothing to worry you can take That qty from delivery table

its not possible in standard sap for change of quantity.

but if you want split the billing for delivery line item quantity setting requried in itemcategory billing relevence as 'K'
