Hi Lakshmipathi

My Issue is related to the billing document types, why for few billing documents like advance payment recives profit centre wheras debit memo does not recives profit center. Sometimes adavnce payments does not recive profit center when it hit AR.

Could you please brief the functionality of accounting documents whther its dependend upon billing type and on what all its dependend upon.

Thanks...

There is no concept called accounting documents based on billing types.

From SD side, accounting documents will generate in two instances.

One is at the time of your inventory posting in delivery stage which depends on OBYC settings. The next is once an accounting document is generated for your billing document which is based on your VKOA settings.

Better you take the help of your FI people and brief what exactly your issue is.

thanks

Based on order related / delivery related billing types settings in VOV8 we can control in billing

accounting entires will be hit or not.

Check with FI consultant for your requirement.

I am not clear on your requirement. I dont know how come you relate customer payments to profit center. As you should be aware all customer payments relates to G/L Account. Can you please be clear by giving a detailed explanation on this ??

thanks
