How to redetermine freight in Invoice based on Gross weight in shipment doc

Former Member

Hello,

1) Route is determined at the Sales Order and Freight condition ZFRT picks up rate for this route from condition record.

2) Delivery takes place.

3) At the shipment document, capacity of the truck is 17 , but the total Gross weight is 30.

4) Now at the Invoice level system should redetermine the Freight charges as per the Access " Route/Overload".

Access "Route/Overload" is followed by "Route" in the Access sequence for ZFRT.

Any possibility to achieve the above requirement.

Hi,

I understand that your frieght value is updated in sales order and not from shipment cost document.

If so, the functionality is easy.

If your case is order related billing, maintain the pricing type field in copy control in VTFA for the relevant item category as H. Now the freight value will be redetermined in the invoice. However I dont know whether gross weight is one of the fields in the condtiion tables for your codnition type. If there is no gross weight field in the condition table, then even after configuration you may not get correct value.

Even if the field is there, it should represent the correct field either from delivery or shipment document.

Route is determined in Sales Order. But the Truck is picked up at shipment document. If the truck has a capacity of 17 MT, and the gross weight is above 17MT, then truck is over loaded and accordingly freight should be applied.

Means if Gross weight is below 17 MT, then, Freight charges are X Rs

If Gross weight goes above 17MT, then Freight charges are y Rs.

In T_06, for your freight condition type, maintain the calculation type as "D".

Next in TK11 for your freight condition type, maintain scales in such a way that up to 17 MT, freight charge is X Rs. and from 17.01 MT, y Rs.
